The Archive · Gallery, not a dump

A museum of software you can license or own.

This is not SourceForge. We do not host zips of crown jewels. Each exhibit is a capability card: what the work does, how it can be licensed, and what remains sealed. Approved customers receive a tenant, a signed instrument, and — when the license says so — a hashed release. Everyone else sees the gallery.

Builds are released only after staff approval. Integrity of a public artifact is a checksum plus an audit event — never a public git clone.

What “own” and “license” mean here

Most catalogs pretend every download is ownership. That is how IP dies. AppForge sells rights, not a rummage bin. Counsel still has to paper the instrument; these are the shapes we already use.

SaaS tenant

You use a named workspace. AppForge hosts. You own your data export, not the code. Best for operators who want the outcome, not a repo.

Subscription license

You run a release in your environment. AppForge keeps the IP. Term, seats, and audit rights are in the license. Source stays vaulted unless escrow is purchased.

Perpetual + maintenance

You keep a specific version forever. Updates and security patches are a separate maintenance SKU. Classic “own the tool” without buying the foundry.

Channel / territory

A named partner may resell or operate in a country. End customers still get use-and-access rights. Source and weights are not part of the channel grant.

Source escrow

Continuity insurance: a neutral custodian holds a release if AppForge cannot perform. It is not day-one source access. Triggers are contractual.

Assignment / buyout

Rare. You purchase the IP. Requires chain-of-title on the contribution ledger, a valuation, and counsel. The gallery will never self-serve this.

Open-source is a later, deliberate act by AppForge — marked opensource-candidate on a few exhibits. It is not a promise and not a default.

Why this is not a software dump

SourceForge / GitHub

Discovery and distribution. Culture expects free source. Fine for commons. Fatal for a foundry that sells scarcity, audit, and support.

AppExchange / AWS Marketplace

Procurement and trust. We borrow the review-and-contract motion, not the “install any plugin” motion. Mid-market operators buy a workflow, not a gadget.

Museum + instrument. You see what exists. You request a license. We approve a tenant or a hashed build. Crown jewels stay hashed, escrowed, or unreleased.

Exhibits

Filter the gallery. Sealed means the work exists in holdings and is not downloadable. Pilot means a supervised evaluation is possible. Nothing on this page is a download.

No public binaries of sealed work

A gallery card is not a download button. If a release exists, it is handed to an approved principal and logged.

No keys, weights, or pricing tables

Secrets, model weights, and commercial rate cards are Red or Amber. They do not ride on appforge.llc.

Integrity is hashed, then audited

When we do release a build, the artifact hash and the approval event travel together. Tampering is a break, not a debate.

Request a license or a viewing

Tell us the exhibit ID (for example M-011) and the right you want. Staff review is manual. Nothing is provisioned until a membership or a license instrument exists. By sending, you acknowledge the Terms, Privacy Notice, AUP, and Beta Agreement.
